SOLUTION
I designed a logo that combined the college’s cardinal mascot with the green dot symbol. The bird’s wings wrapped protectively around the dot, symbolizing safety and support, and the green dot was also used as the cardinal’s eye to tie the concept together.

RESULT
Although my design wasn’t selected as the final logo, it clearly communicated the message behind the program and was a strong visual representation of its goals.
